Default does anybody know...

hey guys im new to the site. I had an accident recently on my bike, the usual getting pulled out on from a side street, but luckily wasnt hurt too bad, my bike however is a bit more battered! I took all the front fairing off because that is the worst damaged. So i was wandering if anybody knows what the metal part is called that holds my clocks/spedometer on. It is like a 'Y' shape and the fairing also goes over it. I only ask as i gotta look for a spare one as its really bent out of shape.
Thank you

You can go to bikebandit.com and look at OEM parts. They break down (show exploded views if you know what that means) of everything. Including the part numbers and factory price.

What year is it and I'll look it up

I can't get to the UK parts fiches for a part number, it's an odd enough part where you'd probably want to verify itthrough a dealer anyway. It should be the same name as the US CBR, though.

What is a CBR f-y? Not being a smartass, really asking if it's a UK thing. I get the CBR F part, but still need a year to look up.

It's an '00 Don, a 2000 CBR600F4 in our land.

This may help, number 13, the Upper Cowl Stay, but it's 180 Euros--check ebay or a shop for a good used one--they work just as well as new:

That's the part I had in mind, it's only $95 US here. Looks the same (fiche even looks the same as the F4). Did ya'll notice that the French part site makes you pay to subscribe to it in order to see the part numbers? Amazing.

Also, 180 Euros is about $278 US. That's another "Amazing!"
