Default Complete newb, doesn't get much more green than me

Just thought I'd post up sayin Hi! ... Lookin to buy my first bike and everyone I've talked too recommends the mid-early 90s CBR600s for a beginner like myself. I've been in motorsports, and I've been a mechanic - so I'm not a complete newb when it comes to performance.. I know my way around 4-wheels, but I'm looking at getting in to the 2-wheel aspect now

Thank ya I've been searching but I cant find exactly what I am looking for. Does insurance really get expensive at all for a guy my age (20) with no riding experience?

Welcome to the site Insurance can get expensive for people below 25 depending what you ride, stick with a 4-600 and it should still be affordable though.

Welcome. I went with a CBR600 for my first bike. Also I got State Farm, they are the best I could find and cheapest.

2 Wheels is different than 4, just take your time and you'll be fine! As for insurance it wont matter until you age, pricing is rough at first, any violations will kill you!![8D]
