Default CBR 600F4i (2001)

Hi, Please help?
I just installed a new battery yesterday on my F4i.
The old one was a couple of years old and getting weak. Time to replace.
Well, the bike started no problem yesterday. I shut it down and thought everything was good to go. Today, it didn't start.
I checked the plugs for spark (ok)
Fuel (ok)
Battery (12.5 volts) (ok)
I checked all connections (ok)
Any ideas? I'm the original owner, this is the 5th battery in 10 years. I now have 54k on this bike.
Thanks for any information to help.
David

Do a check on the Charging system (You can find the service manual on here) and see how your numbers come out.

It will most likely be a leak to ground through your R/R if you just started it and turned it off then it wouldn't start again.

Did it crank over at all (weak)? Or did it not even try?

Welcome to the forum David!

You'll want to take your questions to the General Tech &/or the F4i section to get more directed responses w/ your bike's issue(s).

Thanks for the help. Yes, I did a check on the charging system. Turns out ok.
Here is where the problem was. Since the battery was new and I didn't charge it. It didn't have enough voltage. The claim (plug & play) doesn't always work on a sealed battery. I found out, it is important to charge it on a slow trickle charge as per instruction on battery. So, after I bought a good motorcycle battery charger and charged it to the proper voltage. The problem was solved.
My CBR is back on the road again.
Thanks for the comments everyone.

If thats the problem great, if in a couple days of riding it dies again, It will most likely be your R/R.
