hey everyone im interested in getting a cbr 1000 and im currently looking at a 2004 cbr 1000 for $4200 with according to the vin check has 30k miles and a prior salvage because the pervious owner(female) dropped it and use the insurance to fix the plastics from what im told.

you guys think thats a good deal?

mods include power comander (shop tuned), HIDs, two brothers full racing exhuast, just bought some fairings for it but will include the old ones, racing clutch, new wheel barings put in less than a month ago, chain recently adjusted, and new battery

Many factors go into evaluating value of a used bike...especially a salvage title bike. Be sure to do your research & ask many questions in the 1000 section. So ask away in that section & hopefully, you'll get the feedback you need to make a better informed decision.

like gotcbr said, do research, and it depends where you are in the country. for where im at (ohio) seems little high for a salvage title and those kind of miles for that year.
