hi all i was given a 1989 honda hurricane by a guy i work with for some work i did on his car needed some work had a lot of rash on plastic didnt know it was that hard to find parts so i did basic body work to the bike and started riding it well coming home from work on the last day of riding before snow flies a 6 point buck jumped out of the woods and into the front right side of my bike i didnt crash but it destroyed the already repaired plastics and fractured my hip so i rode bike 500 feet from crash to my house yeah so close spent all winter redoing body work and repainting bike when warmer weather came i decided to ride to a karaoke night at my friends bar i left there about 1 30 am and started off for home 12 miles away im on a back road with twisties and so on when i come around a nice long blind curve to find a deer in front of me leaning to the peg at 60 mph i swerved to right hit gravel and thats that rolled bike 6 times in ditch landed on stone wall upside down i rolled down shoulder of road and snapped a street sign with my back long story shorter spent 1 and a half months out of work but when i return a friend asks me i i wanted to by a 1987 hurricane with no title for 100 dollars so my bike is now all back together and so am i can you put newer plastics on an 89 hurricane

 

Welcome to the forums and I must say you seem to have had an incredible run of bad luck ..sorry to hear all that and hope things are now better ... at least you are alright and thats all that really matters :-)

I would say the bodywork between any of the CBRs in not interchangeable without a lot of messing around and altering of mounts etc..
