Hi recently bought a 600fy it had oil coming from No.1 week hole. Thought it was just a gasket. Put some sealant on the valve cover gasket still leaked. Took off the valve cover hoping it was the gasket around the plug hole. Noooooo. The valve cover has cracks around the plug hole and the outer inlet cam bearing is shot, worn down with peening round the edges Looks like it has been starved of oil at some point. Bike has only done 26k. I'm thinking second hand head and valve cover unless any one has any other ideas. 😣
