I am looking into buying a 1994 CBR 900RR and wanted to intruduce myself and also see if there is any frequent issues with this bike besides the sore wrist syndrom

 

hmm... can't answer your question but the sore wrist syndrome will lessen the more you ride

OK I found a good deal on a 1994 CBR 900RR and I was wondering about the little quirks that come with them like timing chain popping off (first bike threw a few an odd gear combo) or somethin stupid like that or a certain speed a wobble that can effect ride and such? I have more than 10 years experience riding but quit in Jan 2001 after totalling my 1995 GSX750R (my 4th street bike) so when I arrive home in April I am going to have a bike waiting in the garage. I joined this sight because I am a member on some Saturn sites for my car and they were a huge help in the buildup of my ride.

I don't know of any problems with the 900RRs, or any bike that has a problem with the chain popping off. Was that something you heard or have experience with?

 

I haven't heard any such thing or other bad things with the 900s, good luck and welcome!
