Hey whats everyone! This is my first forum, my first bike and my first time reaching out! I have 06 CBRf4i, been riding about 3 months, already laid it down onc.... (sad face) Anyway, glad to be a part, I have a lot of questions, especially about repairs, specifically the shift lever right now! So please let me know if you can help or are in east NC and want to ride sometime!

I've curled/snapped a few levers. If it's just the lever that's damaged, it's a simple swap.
If it's damaged the assembly/pivot, it's just a slightly more complicated swap.

Just take a picture or 2 of routing before you remove the old part, if you need to
replace the whole thing. Pictures are your best friend, on ANY mechanical work you do.
Lots of different angles and distances can turn an, "Oh, shoot! How did that go?" moment around.

Thanks yall, means much to be a part. I will post a pic of the bike as soon as she is fixed. As far as the shift lever, its just the lever itself that snapped. I ordered a replacement but they sent me the wrong one (lever points the wrong way) but I am going to go ahead and take it to the shop anyway, insurance is paying for the fix, I wanted to ride it one more time before I turned her in.
