Hey everyone, I just picked up a 97 cbr600 f3 smoking Joe edition, it is somewhat disassembled and missing some parts but was said to be getting set up for track racing, I picked it up for 500$ and I wanna see what I can do with it. It came with brand new never used or installed muzzy stainless exhaust headers back, racing sprocket set not sure the brand with new gold o ring chain, fiberglass racing fairings and brand new metzler rubbers mounted but never driven on, braided break lines. the way I see it I have double my money in new parts as it is so its a good start , what it needs. Forks,rotors,cluster,windscreen,headlight(want to integrate a newer model possibly). Blinkers,mirrors,and the biggest thing carbs! I want to stretch it and try to squeeze a 200mm rear on it eventually, I'm picking up everything but the carbs on Friday and will have it all installed by sun. Any advice with upgrades or problems might come into would be greatly appreciated, Thank you.
