Default which bike to get?

Hey wussup.. Im purchasing a bike really soon and my question is which bike will suit me the best. Im tryin to decide whether if I should get an 03-05 r6 or a cbr600rr. Im only 5'6 or 5'7 at 140 lbs and I was wondering which bike is the smallest and lowest in comparison to an r6 or cbr600rr.. Im guessing the r6 and cbr600rr are pretty similar to performance and reliablity.. The reason why Im leaning towards teh cbr600r more is because I see r6's to freguently on the street and most my freinds who have bikes have yamahas.. I jus turned 20 and Im pretty sure that Im done messing with cars.. [8D]

I think that the Honda is way more comfortable to ride personally.

welcome! i agree with you... lots of r6's out on the street (at least here in southern Illinois). i'd get the honda they both have about the same seat height. IMO the honda feels/looks/handles better! you should be able to keep it stock (seat height) though. there are quite a few "shorter" members here who ride and don't have problems.

Hello & Welcome!!

R6's are much lighter, but you shouldn't have a problem with the weight of the bike. But if your on the Honda site, your choice is clear.

thanks for the quick reply.. My mind is pretty much set on getting an 04 cbr600rr.. The exhaust is soo sexy on the cbr600rr.. Right now Im jus trying to look for a black cbr.. Is there anything I should be concern about before buying a cbr? And how much do cbr's weigh? thanks!

The dry weight is about 370 lbs it's nothing to worry about.. You'll be happy with the rr, trust me. I know you'll get alot more looks with the rr... Good luck in your purchase.
