Back in the saddle
Just wanted to introduce.
Years riding experience: 10 (if you include dirt/trail and moto-x bikes as a kid)
Mechanical experience level: Everything above the gear box at least a few times...with mostly good results...mostly self-taught.
Previous sportbikes: 92 ZX-6 and a 92 FZR 600...
*First bike was a Honda SL70...rode it to pieces...and was instantly hooked.*
Just recently purchased a 1994 CBR F2...7k miles...never dropped.
Regards...

RE: Back in the saddle
Hey thanks...really getting back into it...
Some observations...no doubt old news to most...
Things have changed a lot since 1993-94...
GP bikes and dirt bikes are all 4-strokers now. [sm=boosign.gif]
Always thought the GP bikes were exotic...something I nor the average person could have.
I was 12 years old I put my first new piston and rings on my RM125...so they were obviously easy to fix...no cams...valves, etc.
As I understand it...2-stroke technology reached it's limits.
But, love riding again...and since my old Mits Eclipse died beyond worth to repair...it will be my main source of transpo.
Need to outlaw cell phone use in cars though...
People in general drove bad enough back then...now...sheesh...
Luckily my commute to work is not bad.
And a ride to me has always been on the backroads...carefully checked out before doing any serious riding. [sm=smiley16.gif]
