Default Another noob

Woooot, just picked up my 05 600rr yesterday. Lets just say with the freezing weather up here and the rear tire in dire need of a change, it wasnt the most pleasant ride ive been in.

Now i need to setup the winter storage. Im gonna run a search but im open to any tips you guys have !

Awesome forum !

Thanks for the tip FITZ.

I actually live in Montreal, Canada. So we dont have an MSF here. But i did however take something equivalent to that.

Nextsummer im taking a sportbike class called FAST. Not sure if you guys have that,im sure you have somethingsimilar. Its essentiallysportsbike riding techniques done on a closed circuit. Im honestly not interested in the stunting aspect of riding so im not worried about falling off while popping a wheelie. But i do love speed and track racing. So i figured i might as well learn the techniques.

what do you think? Ill try to post some pics of my RR tonight

That's a Subaru C pillar I see in your sig. Makes me smile when I think about what I did to one of those. Welcome! Be careful! Get some pics of your bike up.

Thanks for the kind welcome guys.

Yep thats a C pillar from the subaru wrc of a fallen rally hero, Richard Burns. Along with Colin Mcrae those were the two most exciting drivers to watch, very fun to talk to as well. Very sad how they both left us.

Anyway i had an STi for a couple of years, it was stolen about 2 years ago....sucks, but on to a new passion, my cbr.

Yeah, I got a little too hot for myself this spring and wadded my STi up. I do miss it, but I like the bike a lot. Those Sti's are expensive little buggers to insure, maintain, and drive. I just about had a loyalty discount at the local gas station.
