hello everyone, recently bought myself a clean 1990 cbr1000fl from a m8 who has one too. he recommended this forum so here i am. i live in bonnie scotland, northeast, excellent biking terrain and plenty of areas to exercise my dear rhonda (the bike). i think i rescued this poor girl just in the nick of time and between myself and my m8 who has taken care of the mechanical side of things we are gradually getting her back to good health. one bit i,m trying to get is a right hand exhaust shield, that,s as you sit on her by the way so if anyone out there has one please give me a shout. looking forward to learning as much as i can about this fine bike. already i,ve been pleasantly surprised by its agilty and comfort, not bad for a 20 year old bike.
