Default WHy do my mirros fold so easily?

Is there anyway to adjust the stiffness of stock mirrors? If im driving under 65mph the mirrors stay put; however when I go past 65mph they start folding back and back and back until they are useless onthe highway.
Is there anyway toa djust the stiffness on my mirrors, or do I just need to replace them.

Thanks!

I'm not 100% sure but I looked at some pics online and I think there is a bolt near where ther mirror mounts to the body. I know on my 94 F2 there was a rubber thing around the mirror frame, but on my 2001 F4i it is exposed. If you can see tha, it probably takes an allen wrench and you can tighten it up so they won't fold in when you go that fast. If that doesn't work you could just keep it under 60mph. Just kidding, but i hope that helps.

Funedude is right. There's a bolt at the end of the mirror stem, right where it attaches to the front cowl, that you need to tighten. If it's a stock mirror, I think you use an allen wrench, otherwise it might just be a regular hex nut.
