Hey guys, can someone tell me the point of these big "curb feeler" lookin things hangin off the bottom of the footpegs on my 1KRR ???? Are they there to make a fun noise before you low side or what ?

I pulled mine off the first day , then I got rear sets.




And there are no dumb questions , only inquisitive idiots .

There to give you a bit of warning of how low you are, likely the next thing to touch down would be something more expensive like plastics or swingarm, but i removed mine also. I had a bad experience with them digging in that convinced me.

don't refer to your questions as dumb... the only dumb question here would be "why would you want to ride a bike"?

Not only do they inform you if you're low to the ground but they are designed to bump your feet up if you indeed do get that low to the ground. It's best to keep them on so that they work for you.
