Default Advice needed on setting Headlight Alignment

Hello fellow Ceebers!!

Can anyone advise me on a technique to set my headlights to the correct setting. I've noticed when i ride at night i keep getting flashed by on coming cars so the light angle must be too high. I had a quick look at the manual and it only says to use the special screw driver that is allegedly underneath the seat (I haven't ventured underneath there yet)

How do you know what the right angle should be?

I am grateful for any advice on how to judge the right angle (I'm in the Uk)

Thanks!!

Well, not knowing exactly what model you have it's tough to provide suggestions. That being said, it for sure should not be pointed above horizontal. One method to use would be to pull up to within 10' or so to a wall. Measure the height of the bright part of the beam right where it comes out of the front of the bike. Then measure at the wall. It surely should not be higher than it is at the source.
