954 heartbreaker!
wuts up everyone! i just got my bike, agreat running03 for 3300 two months ago. it ran great and i know i should have done some servicing to it but i didnt have the money so i just replaced the essentials like the brakes wich were bad and the lights. it needed an oil change but i figured i could just drive it a littleuntil i had the money for it. i put in 1000 miles and the bike started running like CRAP! so now i had to do all the maintenance work to it. I did the tune up and oil change and she ran a lot better but not like when i got it. so i kept on reading your threads and getting to know my bike with the manuals. finally i lifted the gas tank to check the air filter and ???!!!! WTF!!! no air filter!!! i just ordered a k&n from ebay today, but i need to know what else i should service immidiatly? wut damage could my bike gone through? and there were many windy *** desert days...

Welcome to the forums Chingon ..sorry to hear of your bike woes ..I dont like the sound of "no air filter" and "many windy *** desert days" ... you could have a lot of particles in the intakes and carbs or injection system ..I dont know the 954RR so try this forum ...

Geeze mate .. running her in a sandy desert with no air filter ?? not good!
Is she blowing any smoke when you free rev her ..?
I would wait till the filter is in before you take her anywhere else mate ...
Having a peek in the air filter box may give you a clue as to if anything substantial has been getting in ....( see if there is any little particles of sand loose in the box )

Should be on the job .. but that's looking grim ..

The misses is looking at me weird ..but she can go jump as well

friggin weather is only average too. which gives me the shytes a tad too
I am generally in go slowwwwwwwww mode here Tex ...me brain hurts just thinking of going outside this morning mate
