Replace rear seat lock; day 1 it worked fine, day 2 while turning it the locking mechanism jammed. Now turning the key doesnt move anything. Entered the trunk thru the rear but the front is still locked down. Tried removing the lock by removing the clip from the back and sliding it thru the hole, but the fairing prohibits the extraction. There doesnt seem to be any moving parts in the mechanism. Does someone know how to activate the mechanism manually.. The picture shows the locking mechanism from under the seat. How to get it to disengage is the key question.

Problem solved. The clip was bent so the mechanism did not move left. By placing a screwdriver in it we were

able to bend it down thereby releasing the catch. Perseverance pays off. Will replace damaged seat catch.
