Just bought a 2002 CBR1100xx

Has 10k miles on her. Dropped at 0mph on the exhaust side.






Gonna get new tires, inspect the bike through and through... any common problems (like f4is and cam tensioners, etc.)?

Excited as this is my first street bike, usually I ride on the dirt. I wanted something that could be as fun as a sports bike, but comfortable to ride as well. I've had seat time on most bikes at this point (friends/test rides) and really like the blackbird

Nice first bike! I like it. Very low mi at 10k. No worries on the R side scuffs, some touch up paint would go a long way.

I look at your bike like a VFR...nice for sport-touring but fun for twisties as well.

Thanks everyone... picked it up for 3500, already have michelin pilot power tires for her, and should be riding sometime next week.

From the pictures the mods I can see are the cut fender, aftermarket turn signals, polished frame/wheels, 2 brothers slipon, and some type of aftermarket exhaust...

can anyone identify the actual exhaust? any other mods that I'm not seeing?

Not too many possibilities for the header. Yosh, Akra, and Delkevic are the only ones I know about. I know the Akrapovic doesn't have a center stand stop, so that's out -- unless that's modded as well. With a full exhaust I'm surprised there's no Power Commander.

The only maintenance item of note is the CCT, same as any other Honda.
