1st street bike.
Hello from a new CBR owner. Actually, new to street bikes in general. I recently traded a 97 CR500 for a 93 600F2. I origianlly traded the CR for a pistol, so I'm only into the CBR for about $900. There were a few issues that i had to take care of, replaced the speedo cable and the left fairing. I still need to do some body and paint work but all in all its just minor stuff.
Trail riding was fun, but having to dodge the trees was getting bothersome, figured it wasnt so scary on the road.
I've had it about a month now and have put on about 1000 miles. For a new rider, i caught on pretty quickly and am having a blast. Unfortunately, it looks like the riding days are about over here in MT- It will be a good winter project and cant wait for spring.
