Best place to ride in the Atl area is straight up GA 400 into Dahlonega, then to 60 / 129 / 348 etc. Those roads are infamous around here, and can lead you to the Tail of the Dragon if that's what you're looking for.
But....be warned, there's currently a lot of debris on the roads from the snow(Xmas). I'd probably keep off of it until late March, and stick to the lower elevations. I'm out all the time as long as the temps are above 45. Welcome to GA!
ps: if ur into racing or track days, we have Road Atlanta and a new track called Atlanta Motorsports Park being built. Can't wait!

like i stated b4 iam new to atlanta,but in regards to the track in pa.you have to get your track license ,does that apply her i have my motorcycle license .in pa but i have to get all my info change to here,cuz i have a pa license plate on my truck and trailer as well as my bike any info will help

No not here. A few shops to hook up with are caylor made (opie) and marietta motorsports. Both support Tons of racers and track day guys. Both shops will rent Little Tally for a day of 2. Your cost about 125. Tons of info and great guys and gals.
