Default 1st Bike

Just bought my 1st bike, 1996 CBR600 F3. Probably not the best bike for me but for the $200 I couldn't pass up the deal. Anyway, I have a few question to ask in the tech sections and just wanted to say hello.

Hi and welcome aboard. $200 is a really good deal as long as it runs.

Be sure and look into taking an MSF (Motorcycle Safety Foundation) class near you to learn the right way to ride. It could save your life someday.

yeah man 200 for a working motorcycle even with no fairings is a steal. around New England that bike would run you atleast 2000. good steal

take motorcycle class I know its a pain wasting 300-600 on a class. but I promise you that class will teach you things! which will keep you breathing after every ride.

Its a complete bike plus $350 helmet. I work with the guy that sold it to me. He had it sold for $1000 running but when the buyer came to test ride it, it stalled and when he tried to fire it back up it backfired. He rolled it back to the garage and hasn't messed with it since last year. I'm thinking worse case scenario I'll go so far as head replacement and if it still wont run I'll part it out.
