Hi all, I'm new to the forum. I'm on a 2009 cbr125r and having constant issues changing from 1st to 2nd. The bike just doesn't seem to want to find it, once I finally get it in all is well with all the other gears. I have read a few posts with similar issues and need some advice.

Chances are my chain is over tightened and possibly wheel alighnment isnt bang on, would this contribute to the issue or even cause it? I am at the point it is becoming dangerous at lights etc..

I would suggest finding the 125 section and asking your questions there. You may have better results.
I'm not familiar with your model but perhaps a tight chain could bind the shifting.
Is the shift lever low enough to get a good bit with your foot and get a solid pull up?
Does the clutch fully disengage?
