I got a wrecked 09 cbr 600rr ..ran great on the bike frame. Bike was not repairable so instead of killing the whole bike i took the motor off and put it on something else.. will run good for a few minutes the starts running odd. Rpms will bounce from 3500 to 5000 with cracked throttle.. wish i could post a video.. when its doin this the exhaust smells like raw fuel. Anyone have any idea? Please help

 

Hi there, welcome.

Two suggestions.

1. If it smells of unburnt fuel, I'd be looking at the fuel injection system. Does this bike have an airbox, are you using a stock air filter?

2. Post up your question in the appropriate section, you'll get a better response.
