Well, I live in Indy and have not made it to the moto gp yet, I am trying to get back from my trip on Saturday so I can at least ride around at the track and catch up with some riders. I might not make it again but I'm hoping it all goes well and maybe meetup with some of you that will be going.

If anyone needs help with best hotels to stay in etc, I can tell you a few good hotels around the track, downtown or even just best pricing and convenience.

The closer you stay around the track the more it will cost, but if you wanted to stay on the east side you can get a reg. hotel room at good price and get to the track within 20 min.

 

I'm in Indy also. Live on northside. Just ordered my 3 day pass thru Speed Channel. We should do a meet and greet @ the track.

 

I'm just hoping I can get back at a good time on Saturday, and won't be too tired to ride, Maybe I'll get lucky and get my girl to drive back from our trip and I can sleep :P.

 

This is one of events that no matter how tired you are, as soon as you're there, you'll be wide awake. This may be the last year for GP at the Speedway.

 

Agree you must go if you havent yet. I will be there and also at motorcycles on meridian the night before. I treat every year like the last because, well, it could be.

 

I have a ticket for Sunday.

 

Me and the Wife are leaving for Indy today. So if ya's see my Black RR gimme a shout. This is our 1st time at a gp. How long does the race usually run til? 6 hour road trip after.

 

GP class race starts @ 2pm eastern and runs about 45 min. Be sure to hit Meridian st downtown. We went last night and had a blast. Im on a red white and blue Fireblade.

 

Well im back in town, had to leave VA. Beach early from hurricane Irene. But I did get back in time to sleep and ride out. Ill be heading into Indy soon, hope to meet up with some riders today. Dunno if I'll go watch the race today, spent alot at the beach :P. Ill be on my black cbr 1000rr with paper plate you cant miss me.

The first race was the moto gp 2 (26 lap) and then I got the moto gp race with casey stoner taking the win.
