I need feed back on the moto-tote or the moto x caddy
[sm=americanasmiley.gif][sm=feedback.gif]I have a Tahoe and I want to carrier my bike with out using a trailer. Have any one ever use this product or know any thing about it. Is this thing safe to carrier a motorcycle . Please let me know
i've used it on an F-150. i would suggest stiffer springs in the rear of the vehicle because it'll totally sag.
the bike does stay pretty stable but dude, it does look pretty freaky. we carried a 600RR and it was cool.
better check the tongue weight of your tahoe though. the mototote is all tongue weight, which should be about 10% of your tow capacity. so if your car can only tow 3600 lbs, then your max tongue weight is like 360 lbs so you shouldn't use a mototote unless you get some bags or something.
we had an F150 with 2 bikes and a third on a mototote. we had just enough to be within specs...that truck is a hauler and a half!
