I would personally wait until you reached your ideal weight. Summer is right around the corner and I'm sure you will be able to achieve it!

 

You could look on craigslist for gear till you hit your goal weight... just a thought. I lost a lot of weight too. Even my helmet seems to rotate more than I'd like since my cheeks aren't so chubby... One of these days when I get my bike registered again, I'll have to go and get some new gear.
