Glad you're safe Dave, we've all been there, pinching the seat with our **** cheeks, trying to avoid some idiots f*ck up while they're blissfully unaware!

Had it exiting a carpark, some c*nt decided to squeeze past me in a single lane exit, damn near run me off the road untill I politly knocked on his passenger window with my fist. He got out the carpark first and when I moved to overtake he swerved to knock me off!!

I just blasted past at that point, but it made me think. This guy looked about mid fifties and had his wife sitting next to him, yet was still an absolute *** hole

Your dad's advice is the best, they are all out to kill us!

Kinda the way motorcycle escorts do a funerals. Keeping in mind they are doing this on mountain roads two lanes. After I witnessed cars struggling to stop for the "roadmaster" I decided that was a little much. I can get out there on my own and catch or wait for the crew. some of them do think they own the road...maybe that why the general public is pissed......
That's just messed up man. They "bikers" must pull out in as much of a safe manner as any other vehicle. To make the vehicles violently slam in their brakes just to avoid hitting you bc you couldn't wait an extra 3 seconds is down right illegal. But I see it all the time. The bikers that do this is what gives The rest of the bikers a bad name.

Wow guys! It seems to be most of us 'under attack' almost on a weekly basis...really scary stuff. I had a mate once who took exception to a car driver's behaviour towards him. He got next to him at the lights and put his boot through the guys front grill, then radiator, flipped the bird then rode off. Not at all appropriate but I bet the driver paid more attention from then on. Generally, these days, I just shake my head and move on but sometimes the fire lights inside me and I have...unpleasant thoughts about these clowns. It ruins a good ride!

If I was doing warp speed I could understand a driver misjudging my speed and cutting it fine, but I don't do that when there's anybody coming towards me for that exact reason. If I was riding near the white line I could understand a driver moving over for a look and not seeing me, then pulling out, but I move over when more than one vehicle is coming towards me to enable anybody to see me even if they're just looking for cars. When they're passed I move over towards the middle for increased visibility of side roads and more choices to swerve to avoid wildlife etc.

You guys all know this kind of **** too and that's why we're still alive after riding for so long. I just want to know; what do some of these car drivers know? Apparently F#CK ALL!!

TYB is 14 and learning to drive on our property. I'm already telling him about the importance of looking for bike riders. **** like leaning forward when your pulling out of a side street in case your corner pillar in hiding a rider. I explained to him that if you're pulling out on an angle, a bike could be moving towards you and remain hidden as you turn. Who tells these other ********* this stuff? Nobody, that's who!

Ride safe guys! Think the worst and hope for the best because a frightening amount of car drivers are retards, blind, just don't give a f#ck or a combo of these things.

You have to be careful. I think its all to easy to get complacent out there and then get dead. I lost a friend who was out riding his R6 this last week when some idiot somehow hit him at a stop light. Don't have the details but it sounds like yet another cager idiot not paying attention. RIP my friend.

Its a bit unnerving for sure. I'm fairly new to the two wheeled game so this is the first friend I've lost on a bike. It really makes you appreciate the risks we take to ride and reminds us to be as careful as possible.

It was a real sad day for sure, hearing he had been killed. He wasn't a close friend but I knew him well enough. Great guy, courageous soldier, and a good friend even if we never had the time to really get to be really close buddies. He'll be missed.
