Bought my 93 a month before I turned 60. There's no turning back !! I like the mirror analogy, thats the only way I am reminded, other than my doctors quizical looks when he discovers my activities. He keeps aslking me "how old are you?"...Oh finally know what happens when you shift and hold above 7K !! Cracked my face i was grinning so hard.....

Add Hendrix, Steppenwolf, Janis Joplin, Cream, Jethro Tull, War, and Santana to the list for my generation. Shall I go on? There's lots more!

Just because there was sh!tty music about doesn't necessarily mean we listened to it!

"Everywhere is,
Freaks and Hairys,
Dykes and Fairy's,
tell me where there is
sanity."

"I'd love to change the world,
but I don't know what to do,
So I'll leave it up to you"

--Ten Years After.

Sheesh, and you never heard of Donovan? He had a BUNCH of huge hits. Hurdy Gurdy Man, Jennifer Juniper, and of course "Hail Atlantis"

The old folks home needs to cut your internet time back, me thinks...

Hell yeah.
Remember 3 dog night? I used to listen to them a lot growing up.
Allman Brothers, CCR, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Paul Simon (with or without Art)
I listen to Sabbath, too. And Pink Floyd, The Grateful Dead, The Doobies, The Who (and Guess Who).
Hell, I even listen to Grand Funk Railroad. "We're an American Band"
(I have all of this and much more on my ipod)
However, that bubble gum chit is horrible. I can listen to big band stuff... and I like Frank Sinatra (even have a Rat Pack box set..lol), but that "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to" chit is HORRIBLE!! Seriously, it makes me want to run and get a shotgun and start blasting.
