Mornin' steve!

Yep, the whole "harms/benefits" calculator needs to come out on this one.
But eventually we're gonna have to figure something out.

Those numbers don't add up either. If you take the max speed with the 4.5:1 you get; 40/4.5 x 6 = 53 mph not the 55 as claimed.
I would think that with the extra wind resistance at the higher speed, his true top speed would be less than the calculated top speed.

I will give him an A+ for trying. I just don't understand why he did it in the first place.

Yep, I don't get it either. I guess it's possible that with the speedo error, he may actually be running like 45-50mph @ 4.5:1? I don't know... it seems sketchy, you're right.

Hell, I hadn't even thought about how it was a silver one... All makes sense now. I mean why would you waste a sweet black one on a pointless project like this?
Silver one was prolly maxing out at 45mph before the swap anyway.... this was just a performance upgrade!!

Looks like the only bike around that would have a shorter range than the "electricane."

I don't want a silent motorcycle. I want something everyone can hear (and hope they get outta the way!)
