Ten Years

Still have lots to learn about this machine. The Duo-Lever front end is a different animal. I have read where some guys were swapping the upper link with another model to flatten the ride out. I don't think it is any more stable or effective than a good set of conventional forks.
The stand-up thing could be due to brakes?
Will try to put up some pics when I get caught up. Out for ten days put me behind.

Before I de-linked I'd drop down 2 to 3 gears, power up and push the bike into the turn and would not let off until well past the apex. This kept the bike down and on a steady line. Only well after the apex I would let off the rear and she would stand up suddenly. I hated the way it would stand up at the apex and send me up against the guardrail while linked. I hated it and came very, very close to sending it down the road, VERY DANGEROUS system.
For the beamer, the ABS and linked system may be separate, remember the front is not linked rearward so that would not effect the ABS (Edit:This LINK says front to rear is standard). I guess you'd have to look to see if there are any funny electrical wires, other than the wheel sensors, in the lines.
I thought you already took care of that. I still have the brackets I made you. I get one 6-pack for personal delivery to the state of Maine.
Two nights ago while out ridding I got thinking about extending the rear peddle about 1/2" to get better rear leverage and feel, I'm still thinking about that.

Still having pangs of seller remorse now and then....I got a text message from my buyer Friday evening thanking me for such a good bike and taking care of her as I did. Glad to know she went to a guy that loves her!
No big rides on the K1300S since I brought her home, just work commutes mostly. Next project will be to get the Corbin seat restuffed to the proper height and shape.
