Yep! I sold one 9 years ago and wish I hung on to it and cafed it out. The one in the photos has a Hooker pipe, nice sounding with baffle in. Pull the baffle and you get an open Meg.

That 1969-1/2 Z is sweet too.

I didn't do the full treatment to this bike, but I did own an '81 CB750F. Added a Kerker 4 into 1 and Magura straight, shorty bars to it. Never got the rearsets I wanted. Kerkers were mean sounding pipes. Downtown Seattle, pull in the clutch and blip the throttle a couple of times. You could hear that thing brrrrrapping off of the buildings.

Here's why i thought it was a Nash. Could have been applied to another car?

Aye! F**k me to tears. It's an Opel Olympia, but I swear that's a Nash hood ormanent, My very first car was a 1969 Opel Kadett Rallye. Best flight characteristics of any car I've ever owned.

I picked up on the wrong part of the "location clue" didn't I? Found Olympia WA was near Puget Sound. Headed me off in the Peugeot track.

Enjoy your beer....
Where I grew up the 'baby Corvette' was seen fairly often - our neighbour had an Ambassador.....

Could be the case - this hood is from the saloon Kapitan that was there, the Olympia was an estate.

Buick acquired Opel pre-war I believe. You can see the Buick influenced "Waterfall" grilles on those 50's Opels.

Actually the pint goes to my wife. I told her about your puzzler and the clue you gave about our location. She hit it in about 5 minutes and she doesn't know a thing about cars or bikes

I mentioned that a neighbour had an 'Ambassador' but was a mite confused - it was a Diplomat.... which had the 5.4l Chevy V8 powerplant.
(the american link...)

As an aside a girlfriend had a '73 Kadett -it was a deep burgandy with dark red interior. Really solid car. Hers was a 1.2 's' I think. Twin carb'd
