Default Every Sunday...

...I get on the CBR and ride down to the ferry, 30 mins later I ride over to the place to be on the 'Mother Island' - it's where all the bikers go.

Took some pics this time, and a real beaut turned out.
Spot the gem and guess the year of manufacture* and you win a virtual pint and packet of crisps!
*will add more pics of it...when it's spotted

Reduced it to 15 pics, but there are bikes of every genre from rats, off road, adventure, cruisers, 70's choppers, sports, sports tourers, this years rockets and those from the 60's.

There's a few gems in there. The Guzzi and the Norton caught my eye. Part 1/Pic 4 is a BSA?. I'm not a big Harley Davidson fan, but there appears to be an old flat-head from the early 40's. Could be a knuckle but the t'nail is small and I can't tell from here. Love the old single cam CB as well

In the right ball park wooferdog.... the gem that stopped me in my loitering has 1100miles from new -according to the owner-, sounded amazing and looked bloody complicated to ride.
Part1 no.4 is a Matchless.

I was going to guess that. Couldn't see the "winged M" on the tank. It was the polished tank panels that made me think BSA

Probably even more complicated to start in the morning.

The sequence would be something like this.

Half kick. Open petcock. Full choke. Two plunges on the primer. Hold half twist on the throttle. Put your leg into it. Repeat until you smell petrol. Swear at it. Go have a smoke. Try again
