A sobering experience

Guess the connection between my 52 year old mind and fingers is deteriorating faster than our Prime Minister's approval rating.

Anywhooo, an update for those that might possibly be sad enough to take some sort of interest in my homelife :
Got the fittings onto my new hose, connected it up to the tap, turned on the tap and ..... water came out the other end of the hose.
A total success I think, and justifies every dollar.
Mind you, it has p1ssed down here for the last 24 hours, so I'm now starting to wonder why I bothered in the first place.

I was quite interested in your life, TK, but it appears that others were not. Shame on them.
I bought a new hose about 3 or 4 yrs ago. It wasn't a particularly expensive hose (maybe $25US or so) but it said on the front of the package that it would not "kink" like other hoses are apt to.
I accepted that it was pure bullchit advertising before I even purchased it, but I needed a new hose and it was the only one in the store at the time.
It turns out that it kinks much less than my previous hose and it has held up well. It seems robust as hoses go, you know, and I'm satisfied.
