I spent all of 1970 over there. It was worth it just to spend one week on R&R in Sydney. Here I am at 19. I was in the Mechanized Infantry and drove an APC (Armored Personnel Carrier). I was amazed at all the motorcycles that were there. I swore that one day I would go back. Sydney, that is, not Vietnam. Have a great time.

Thanks for serving, buddy.

My FIL was over there as well in the 25th Infantry. These may look a bit familiar.

This is him.

Great Photos guys - and always remember Australia is just a ' plane flight away

About 30 minutes to the last flight of the day, Singapore/Changi to Ho Chi Minh/Saigon. Had a fantastic shark cartilage and prawn noodle dinner and a foot massage. They offered to massage my brain but I said it wasn't being used

So ya missin' me yet? Or havent I given you a chance..............

Bloody hot and humid, thunderstorms etc which I hope doesn't delay our flight but they do have smoking lounges so not all bad.

Stay safe guys, next check-in from Vietnam.

Keep the photos coming.

Cheers, from the travelling 'Bears

Someone had to do it, might as well be me.
Good luck my friend, please have a blast on behalf of all of us.

Starting to get that Bike Week thing sorted (I'm assuming you're flying into Christchurch), it's all good; project management is a big part of my job.

Shiny side up Craig, keep yourself and Joy safe.

Singapore/Changi
My Gt Uncle Fred was a Colonel in the Gurkha Regt - captured and spent 5 years in a Japanese prisoner of war camp. He wouldn't have anything made in Japan in his house........

So ya missin' me yet?

Nope !
