Thank you Shadow (and all others) but let's be honest, I didn't put any effort into Philippa's achievement.
All you can do as a parent is to try and steer your children in the right direction; if they take the bait and run with their passions they will always do well.
I've been very lucky, both of my girls are doing well in their chosen fields.
Nature or nurture? I see many of the bright kids that the girls went through High School with working in "dead end" jobs.
But, hey who knows, maybe in another 20 years one of those kids might end up being Prime Minister of NZ.
I truly believe that your lot in life is more about passion than ability.
