That's her, Hawk! GET HER!!
Wonderful that you threw some Dylan up here. He is undoubtedly my favorite singer/songwriter. I bet you I can sing 99% of his songs. Me and my girl used to listen to him all the time when we met. Great stuff.
In fact, I think my girl's ringtone right now when I call is "if not for you".
There was an open mic night at a small bar down south a couple years ago, and a little no-name band played there. I yelled "play some goddam dylan" really loud (I was a little happy..) and I'll be dammed if they didn't break into "tangled up in blue"!! Best part was that it was freakin' amazing!!! I just sat there staring and listening like I was in a trance.
My mom named me after the welsh poet, Dylan Thomas (which is weird, because my mom's best friend's mom was really good friends with him, but my mom didn't know it at the time). And I've heard that Bob Dylan liked Dylan Thomas a lot, which is where he got it. Interesting.
Well, I'll stop boring you with my historical background on Dylan, and add another couple great tracks by the legend....
Here's another one about the dum ****...
Like a Rolling Stone..
Here's what you play when you realize you can't turn the Red Headed **** into a housewife...
Don't think Twice...It's Alright
And another...
It aint me, Babe
Man, Dylan wrote about ***** all the time....
