Rainx "nofog" on the outside of shield?????
Can't hurt to try it. I think it's only like $3/bottle.
What I do is buy those tiny little spray bottles and keep them in my backpack or jacket pocket with a couple paper towels.
On the whole "damage to plastic" topic....
I've used rainx, rainx anti-fog, windex, etc on my HJC visor with no ill effects.
However, it may not be a strong as it should be now, either. It's not scratched, foggy, or crazed, though.
I think polycarb lenses are a bit tougher than acrylic, but I'd be sure to test chems out before covering your visor in anything.
