It is amazing how many of these real early CBR's are still kicking around .... and with so little mileage on them ... ?

I have seen a few red and white ones here in Aus for sale , but most with 60,000+ klms (35,000+ miles ) or more ...
With so many still around , there will be still quite a few spares coming up as guys eventually wreck them at least ... not that I like seeing them wrecked
but spares is spares ....

You're right about how many low mile 'Canes are still out there. If you're really looking for one, it's really not hard to find one. My buddy bought a '90 like yours, with 19k miles. That was about 5yrs ago, maybe, and I thought that was crazy low miles. I bought mine a few weeks later with only 16k miles or so... It took me no time at all to find it, and I've seen tons since then...
You're right, there should be plenty of spares down the road...

Speaking of that when I was out grabbing some h4's at Walmart the night before last
there was a carbon copy of your bike Steve out in the Parking Lot, this was in
Walmart Newington NH, so I ****ed around waiting to see who had the bike. She was
a beaut' ........looked in great nic........just missing one lower fairing.
Sure enough the Guy comes out and we get gabbin, she had about 48k on the clock
and he gives me the run down on how he got her in the last few weeks from a friend
and how much he loves the bike and how he went wide on a highway ramp split the
lower fairing without knowing it and how it flew off later.
Decent Guy........long story short ........pointed him this direction........be interesting
to see if he checks in..........except for the fairing missing ..........she was a topper !
