So ... have any of you worn through a pair of Michelin Pilots? I've heard great things about them from a friend who rides an FZ, but his bike is so much lighter, newer and well, it is a totally different bike. I understand that radials aren't the best fit/function for old Hurricanes. I'd love to hear what you guys like to use and why.

Welcome John. I to Sold a 92 FZR 1000 Genesis for the 1000F. Your right they just dont compare at all. The Yamaha had plenty of grunt like the 1000F does but thats where the similarities end. Honda have the far better machine imo. Cheers mate.

Welcome, Dave! Roos are bad news for sure. Over here, it's whitetail deer. They're everywhere in PA and I've had a few close encounters myself. Glad you like the site.

i read a old forum on them and guy was saying they dont corner hes crazy I get right down on um and in it lol!!
Yep, these bikes will corner just fine. I've heard people say that, too, but they're usually just not used to the bike. Cranking them over takes a bit more effort than a smaller, lighter bike.... and you can hit hard parts if you go too far. (which is waaay over)
Welcome to the CBRF, man. Nice 'cane ya got there....
