Yes, I just killed a ton of time going through that entire thread. I can't believe how much effort you put into every little piece. Great job.
I had a 350 when I was a kid, and it was a great bike. There's a picture of what it looked like in my family album. I loved that red and black treatment. Makes me want to do it.

, but the black/gray/red of the 93's are the coolest & baddest looking F's ever & a little faster than silver.

Matt's 350 Twin's stuff is 100% great .......can't wait to see hiz 1000F
Hope there's no slowpoke Yellow on it
but eeven if there is I know a Guy who's great with Krylon paint ........LOL

HI,
I have already posted but figured I should introduce myself here.
I just picked up a 1987 CBR1000F for a good price, considering it hadn't run in four years. It runs now but still needs to have a few items sorted out so it's not road ready. My hope is to have it on the road by April. I don't have gobs of disposable cash so I'll do things a little at a time.
I'm 56 and have been riding for over 40 years now. I got a ticket on my first bike before I could legally ride. I'm older, slower and hopefully wiser today.
I'm hoping I can tour on this bike. Some people do. I'll see if I can. I had an ST1100A and sold it because it was boring. My Blackbird wasn't boring but after three days on the road I was in pain. I'm hoping that this is a good compromise.
Anyway, that's me. Hopefully I will glean much knowledge from this forum and maybe even meet some of you in time.

Giday Russ... glad you took the time to say hi down here in our Hurricane section ... happy to have you aboard mate
56 hey ....gee just just ahead of me ... quite a few other guys here with a few years under the belt like us ...
Dunno if the Cane will be much better on yu **** that the Bird was ....but they sure arent any worse ...LOL
My old **** starts getting gets the creeps after about 250klms (150miles) but then it gives me a second excuse to stop , fuel up and leg stretch ...so it isn't a problem really mate ...
Definitely throw a few pics up of your 1000F original sin (87)
