Hi, A newbie and already in need of help.
does anyone know if other screens fit the SC21 CBR1000FJ. Mine had a chat with the floor and lost and finding it really difficult to get a good priced replacement. I have heard that other screens can be cut down to fit but thought I would ask the PRO'S!!!

Might help if you tell us where you are as there are screens available in many countries.
Have you looked on Ebay to see if there are any in your neck of the woods?

I am in the UK and have tried the usual... eBay, Gumtree, Partsfinder, etc. I have found a couple overseas but the postage is more than the screen and I am worried about damage during shipping!!
I have seen a thread were a bigger screen gets trimmed down. Just need to know what the doner screen is?? Or where to get a clean, cheap replacement!

 

i have a smoked one, it has a small crack in by the mount but cant really be seen see pic if your intrested pm me, and im in the uk, your for a drink and postage

Click on the person's username (in their mail) you want to send a PM to and it will come up with a small dropbox with options including "Send a Private Message to"

Hi.
Not sure why mine does not have that option. If I click on their user name the only options I get are "add to contacts", "view public profile" & "show all posts".
I couldn't look at the pictures that wheelnut put on either! Do not have permission message came up. Not sure if my account has been activated properly yet.
