My ZX9 only uses 5.5-6l per hundred. That Balius must be a LOT of fun!
Still, if Joy loves it - then that's all that matters.

That's what.... like 36mpg? That's about my high average on the 1kf!
My KLR650 gets about 48-50.

Nice looking lady, though. And the bike is pretty cool as well.

Yeah! 6.5 litres per hundred kilometres seems a lot, so I did a bit more searching today, and came across this site:

Balius (Kawasaki ZR 250A) | Fuelly

Where real people put in real data (not Wiki based). If you drill down into the data the bike seems to get better mileage in the city - and he did manage one 7.0L/100 run in the country. Fang it and it gets thirsty.

For 6,717km the rider has averaged 4.9 litres per hundred kilometers with a best of 3.7 litres. Sounds a bit more realistic

Cheers, SB

Yeah, I'm on fuelly, it's quite good, I believe my average mpg is 56 for my f2 which is not too bad, drops if I hammer it though. So 36mpg for a 250? Wow your wife must be flogging it! S'pose that's why she's grinning so much!
