Hi guys , just a quick question about my 1996 CBR1000f, I want to lower the brake pedal on it, which i did today using the adjuster by the rear master cylinder, but when i got the brake pedal in the right position the brake light was permanently on, so i had to adjust the pedal back up until the brake light worked properly, is there any way to adjust the pedal lower without the brake light on permanently. Thanks in advance for any advice
Welcome to the forum Randy.
You could try adjusting the brake light switch. Its behind the brake pedal.
Make sure you have full braking range with where the pedal is now before hitting the open road.
.
Pretty sure they said light was working with rear-brake. It's front-lever that doesn't seem to be activating switch. Or switch is broken or mis-aligned.
