Insanity...
It's amazing what Honda packed into the Cane. My almost 19 year old lady is still kicking some major *** and has just had a Kawasaki 1200 for lunch.
We've been putting over 500 miles on during Independence Day weekend, bringing our total to over 3k miles for this season alone. (in North Dakota )
What i didn't know, and also wouldn't recommend, is to test out how far the old lady will go...or shall i say...how fast.
I topped her out at 168mph, swiftly fighting the urge to pass a store to purchase new underwear....she's damn fast...and all that at 50mpg during the longer trips.
Only bike I'd give my cane up for is a BMW K1200 RS - and that's a bit out of my reach

These old girls are still totally in the running as one of the most wicked sports bikes still on the road today and can be very frightening if you give them chit!!! ... no doubt of that .... they go like hell !!!!
Sounds like you had a bloody good run over the weekend
Dunno if I would ever bother to trade my 1000F for a BMW K1200 RS ow dear !!! but I spose like I always say , everyone to there own choices ...

I have the Zero Gravity Touring - pains me to say...that was a . While it's longer than the OEM screen, it's missing the curve on top to actually be effective.
The handle bar risers are the next thing i'll have to do then. Should also be easier on the elbows when going long distance, i would assume.
