Default Insanity...

It's amazing what Honda packed into the Cane. My almost 19 year old lady is still kicking some major *** and has just had a Kawasaki 1200 for lunch.

We've been putting over 500 miles on during Independence Day weekend, bringing our total to over 3k miles for this season alone. (in North Dakota )

What i didn't know, and also wouldn't recommend, is to test out how far the old lady will go...or shall i say...how fast.
I topped her out at 168mph, swiftly fighting the urge to pass a store to purchase new underwear....she's damn fast...and all that at 50mpg during the longer trips.

Only bike I'd give my cane up for is a BMW K1200 RS - and that's a bit out of my reach

You'd be sorry - I clean my mate up on his all the time.....only place it's good is top end, about the same as a Cane......and they're HELLISH expensive if something goes wrong.

Only reason why i'd go for a K12 is because of the seating position, it's a bit more upright than the cane, while still having the protection of the windshield. Being 6'3'' tall, that's important , which is also holding me back from putting handle bar risers on the cane. ..caught between a rocker arm and an engine casing...

Get an MRA Touring screen from twistedthrottle.......taller
The use genmars or the VFR bar mod to gain bar elevation.

Just options that are out there.......costs a good few dinero though

I have the Zero Gravity Touring - pains me to say...that was a . While it's longer than the OEM screen, it's missing the curve on top to actually be effective.

The handle bar risers are the next thing i'll have to do then. Should also be easier on the elbows when going long distance, i would assume.

FargAT, you're right... these old ladies can hang with just about anybody.
I've surprised many clowns on this bike...

As far as risers, I have a set on mine and I like them a lot. The previous owner installed them, so I don't know exactly who made them....but they're nice.
