That's a good question.
Maybe a sea turtle?
They live forever, and they don't really have many enemies. You could just cruise around in the ocean.... eat some fish... lay on the beach..etc. Everybody thinks turtles are pretty cool, too..
However, if I could just come back as a little known multi-billionaire..... that would be cool, too...

Tiger sharks crunch up sea turtles big time
. I'd come back as a dog in a good home, as long as I could keep my nuts! Well, not the ones I've got now 
but you know what I mean.. Those pr!cks of mine play, eat or sleep. Sometimes I leave for work and they're crashed out in the morning sun, and when I come home they're playing or crashed out tired from playing all day. It really is a dog's life

I thought about being a dog, too, but like you said... it would have to be in a good home like mine or yours. Right now, my one dog is napping and the other is chewing on a nice big hambone my wife gave him. Tough life, so it is...

But I'd settle for having my old Shadow dog back - he died last Friday, aged 13 years.

Take a long time to get used to them ...then the rest of our bloody lives to get over missing them mate ...
I tell yu when my max 15 near 16 yrs goes ...om gunna be history for a while ...and I agree , except I recon they are better than people full stop Pete ...
Get a pup mate ... go to the pound and see if they have a happy face that needs a great mate and a nice home
It took me 2 weeks to find Max after my last one left us ... but its worth the look as soon as you can ...
