I can certainly understand wanting to go with one or the other when considering cost. You could put whatever money you get out of the CBR towards the cost of the "other" bike.
Plus, you won't have to pay insurance on 2 bikes (although liability on the CBR shouldn't be much, right?).
You also won't have to pay for an extra registration and inspection, either. (which reminds me, maybe I should have had my CBR inspected this year? Lol)
But that's not much money, either.

I would probably just keep the old girl, but that's just me.

Ride one and the next day ride the other and after a few days you will know.
You can trick the eyes but you can't trick the butt.

That's right. One will probably just end up sitting.

Talking

I had to laugh when I read this. The other night I drempt of another woman..er bike. I was all geeked up over a BMW K1200S. It was the '05-'06 with yellow fairing. The following night my midnight adventure was at my old Honda shop where I bought my Brand new '79 CB750F. Anyway, any new bike purchase is just a pipe dream.

I looked the S1000RR over at the display at MotoGP in Indy this year. That's alot of bike for the buck, esp bein a Beemer. I would still have a big problem pullin the trigger on such a high end bike. The maintenance and insurance piled on top too-ouch!
