Default Finally, my 200mph video :-)

Right now I got you all watching ..lol ... this is a separate Betws run, and this
time I left the engine noise on the soundtrack the only problem was traffic
spoilt play somewhat in parts, which had me a wee bit frustrated because
these curves are to die for, well not literally you understand ..lol

... at the end when I got clear there is the fast straight where I just opened
her up in top, the top gear pull in this thing from 7,000 rpm takes my breath
away and sometimes has me searching for another gear thinking it can't be in
top ... silly speeds were reached on that final stretch,

I feel sure I went over 30mph!! ;-)

Another nice one Jules. Passing on double line is a no-no.

Nice ride there Jules ! A couple of naughty over taking manoeuvres , but I know how you feel , the acceleration on a bike is so fast , the space is there

Be careful though , there aint much room for error with dry-stone walls on either side .

Used to go to 'Swallow Falls' in my youth , lovely part of the world

Yes, I was being a very good girl until 5:20 when that van and lorry got in my way ... but when the road is that clear and I can see well ahead and have instant acceleration at my fingers ... it's kinda hard to just sit there when you know you can whiz past safely .. in the car you have to sit behind them for 20 agonising miles ..lol

Swallow falls are lovely to visit, they are the other end ... I was leaving Betws y Coed and heading back to Llangollen along the A5, opposite direction from them :-)

Just had a look on Google maps , used to come in along the A470 would drive down from the Wirral .

Some really nice looking wiggly lines on the map around there! Wish I had the bike up that way , it would be my playground

Gets very busy in the summer , I remember being stuck behind caravans , motor-homes , lorries , other cars ! About the only thing I didn't get stuck behind was bikes (didn't ride then , unfortunately).

Why do all the best roads have nasty bits along the edges ? Wouldn't it be great if they had 'Air Bags' like the MotoGP circuits
