Do you gyus have like a built in cooling system or something? Last summer the temp peaked to 32c here for three days and I was on the verge of melting away, even the dog just layed in front of the aircon machine and I wasn`t in a hurry anywhere from there either... It was so humid that all it took to get your t-shirt damp from the OUTside was to stand outside for 10mins...
Over 40? Inhabitable say I... Can it even get +50 anywhere other than desert? that`s when most veggies start cooking...
IMO the ideal weather would be overcast, slight wind, +25c and maybe a light occasional shower...

I used to live in the desert & 50C+ did happen. Not often thank goodness. Where I work is a whole different kettle of fish. On summer days when it's 40+ we go outside to cool down & think a cool change has hit. 8 hours in front of a machine forming molten glass. Ambient temp around 60C - 70C. on the machine 700C+ peaking out at just over 1100C. When changing out mould gear the air blowing past your ears is about 120C. Just think that water boils at 100C.

In the sauna for 8h straight. Jeez, you must go through a pretty long row of water bottles per day. Isn't that dangerous in the long run, not long ago I just read an article about laptops being able to cause burns, or more precisely to "cook" one's leg if it's always kept in the lap for long perioids of time. Sauna's good for what ails you but there's a limit to how long it's recommended to be safe too... Dunno, still propably prefer the occasional -30 rather than +40...
