Default Engine cover question.

Hi all, was the 1995 1000f fitted with that rubber engine cover under the fuel tank?

Many thanks

It's a heat protector, that stops hot air from the radiator blowing over the engine.

Cheers

Nope - at least not on my CBR1000f A 1995.

I think this is the correct diagram - 16 is there, 17 is not. 16 is below the coils and fwd of the engine.

My old 98 CB500 has something similar fitted... I imagine over the years most get binned.
